Fiat 131 Abarth, Peugeot 206 WRC
As usual, Scalextricpassion ends each year coinciding with its anniversary with a special reference. In this and seven, we have decided on a small tribute to the "Grönholm", father and son. Two drivers and cars that are both an important part of the rally history.

The SP028 "Gronholm" Legacy set composed by the Fiat 131 Abarth with which "dad" Ulf Gronholm, with his co-driver B. Rehnström, entered the 1979 1000 Lakes Rally finishing 4th overall using this livery only for this rally and the Peugeot 206 WRC with which the "son" Markus Gronholm, with co-driver T. Rautiainen, entered the Sameer Safari Kenya Rally of 2000.
Fiat tires have been manufactured for this model in addition to having cut the axles noticeably and as always the excellent work with driver and co-driver figures. In the Peugeot, in addition to having made changes in the tires (in the photos are prototypes for lack of finishing details), a snorkel and a GPS has been manufactured, added the corresponding antennas and the work in the thermosolate windows without forgetting of course the interiors with drivers and co-driver. To top off the work, the car has been risen sensibly between body and chassis as it is a safari model.
Limited and numbered series of 50 units in a collector's box as always.
