Italian brand is working to recover the sides to slot hobby.
BRM plans to break a new ground in the world of slot, or maybe recover some forgotten old ways. Motorcycles with sidecars were a hit at the beginning of hobby but it is also true that their popularity was not as now. The Superside is a discipline that is regulated by the FIM and precisely in less than a month begins the 2013 season at the Spanish circuit of Motorland.
BRM is working on developing its Superside to slot, with dimensions close to 1:18. To do this is making tests on the replica of the LCR (Louis Christen Racing) Superside Swiss team. A model that will soon be available for the first test between different dealers and so we know that has an double outlet engine in anglewinder position to give traction directly to each rear wheel that are not in the same axis.
On the other hand the BRM Production Mananger, Pascal Baratella, stated to SCT that they are also working on an F1 car, a classic ones at 1:24, and that the project is well underway.
